How to Search
There are two ways to search the World Crops database:
1. Search Crop Names
Use the first search box to find crop names. Simply type a crop name — or part of one — and click the Search button. You’ll see a list of matching names.
For example, entering “berry” will return results like cranberry, gooseberry, and other names containing “berry”.
Each result includes the preferred English name in brackets.
2. Search the Entire Website
The second search box lets you search the entire website. Enter any keyword, and you’ll get all pages where that word appears.
For example, searching for “malaria” will show all crops whose descriptions mention malaria.
Crop Names in Multiple Languages
The World Crops Database includes thousands of names for hundreds of agricultural crops — including scientific names, synonyms, and common names in:
English, Dutch, Spanish, French, German, and Italian (English, Nederlands, Español, Français, Deutsch, Italiano).
