Black chokeberries
Chokeberries originate from eastern North America.
Chokeberries are often grown as ornamental plants. They are not very important as a fruit crop. Fruits can be used to make wine, jam, syrup, juice or tea. Fruits of the red chokeberry can be eaten raw.
